DSL Ideas and Suggestions :: mkboot

I try to use mkboot for preparing a bootflop for reentering
an HD installed DSL. It has a normal LILO boot for
booting between Win/XP or DSL . But in case fdisk /mbr
has been used, I want to be able to reenter DSL and
reinstall the dual boot with LILO. The Best or Vanilla
versions do not bring me any further. Until so far I could
only create a non-bootable floppy. Anybody knowing?

I usually download the boot-0.8.img from the repository, and run
" dd if=/path_to/boot-0.8.img of=/dev/fd0

Works for me..

I have just burned 0.8.2 I've tried live-cd and decided to hd-install but...when I wanted to mkboot it said me can't found /vmimage So I tried with 0.8.0...the same answer Only with 0.7.3 I can make mkboot and obtain a good boot disk Perhaps if I do as you said to wlvdpoel....
