DSL Ideas and Suggestions :: Add growisofs to dsl-4.x



Now that dvd/dvd burners are in widespread use, would it be possible to add growisofs to the dsl base to allow command line dvd burning?

I'm not totally sure which dvd+rw-tools are required, but growisofs itself appears to compile to +/-80KB.
The updated cdrtools also burn dvd's, this was the biggest reason for the update.
I've so far burned 3 dvd's from iso's using it on DSL 4.x.
oops - missed that. I guess it'll teach me not to use 3.4.11 most of the time...

I did just get through burning a 4GB iso with growisofs at 4x on a Pentium II :)
fyi there's a growisofs in the tkdvd extension, and I also have one in my dvd-making uci which I hope to post in the near future.
