DSL Ideas and Suggestions :: Man pages are broken - they hang the shell

Does anyone know what's wrong with the man pages, or how to fix them?

In the meantime, I've added this line to buy boot scripts:

alias man='echo The man pages are broken'

So my compulsive use of it doesn't cause constant lockups.

Look at the menu Apps-.Tools->Net Man Pages
Notice the word Net. Explore your system.
Manpages take up alot of space and we use the Net to fetch manpages. There is a man.dsl which may provide local manpages.

I noticed that net man was broken in an earlier version but they work from the GUI menu and from the command line in 3.1.
