DSL Ideas and Suggestions :: Bundle GnuPG with DSL

It seems to me that when logging onto a strange network, email security might be a concern to paranoid individuals such as myself. GnuPG might fit the bill. Seamless integration with an email client like Sylpheed or Mutt would be great, but not absolutely necessary. Seahorse is overkill. So... is there any reason this could not be done?
