I don't know If someone has posted something like this, but this is only my list of suggestions.
1.) Firefox Ok. With little tuning I managed to make FireFox automatically save plugins. Other thing that I didn't managed to do was fix the problem adding new search engines to quick search bar. This is possibly due some read only files...
2.) Usb mass storage device detection. Ok it works fine if you had it plugged in before boot. If you plug whle DSL is on: a, the dock app doesn't update itself. It has to be restarted. b, It's kinda tricky to try mount via CLI...
Because of this... I once plugged my USB pen out. then later plugged it back. DSL was unable to find it again. I tried almost everyting. Even logged out. Well, I could have backed up my settings to hd, but I realized that too late. So I lost some settings a had made. In some cases accident like this could be a lodd of weeks work. Nowdays I backup my settings quite often.
3.) Screen How about to add screen to MyDSL packages? It's one damn useful program. If you ask me, I'd included it straight to DSL.2) Instead of CLI or dockapp, try this:
Plug USB drive in and wait 10-20 seconds for it to register with hotplug.
Open the emelfm file manager and navigate to the /mnt directory.
Then right-click on your USB drive's mountpoint (usually sda1) and choose "Mount" from the right-click menu. When finished, you can unmount the drive by choose "Unmount" and wait a second or two. Then you can safefly unplug the device.Ok. It worked. Now I plugged my MP3 player... Let's see if DSL regonizes my USB pen aften I have plugged my MP3 player out...
Edit: Nope. =/ Now there's: /mnt/sda1 <--- Where my USB pen used to mount. /mnt/sdb1 <--- My MP3 player mounted here /mnt/sda <--- just appeared
I tried to mount all of these... none worked. Last one gave me an error where fstype must be given... Ok. I try with CLI... Using -t vfat it says that it's wrong fs type. Well... It IS fat.
Lucky me. Before this test I saved my settigs...Screen is in the MyDSL repository, good thing too I can't live without it. I still think it should be in the main iso.

If it's fat16, the type is msdos. vfat is fat32.Next Page...
