DSL Ideas and Suggestions :: install gcc compiler in damn small linux 2.3
I have an old portable computer. It has the next features: Pentium I 200 MHz, 32 MB RAM, 2,1 GHz hard disk.
I've recently installed damn small linux 2.3. I want to install the gcc compiler, but I don't have internet connection in this computer, so I can't connect to APT to download files.
I've tried to install some gcc versions, but it is needed another installed gcc to compile the newer.
Can I get any gcc version which doesn't need any another gcc to be installed?
Anybody can help me?
Thanks all.
I'm spanish, so my english is horrible. Sorry!
There is a gcc1.dsl entry in the repository. system reposistory
Download it and use a CD/USB stick to get it on your machine.
This should work...
