DSL Ideas and Suggestions :: Nero Home (In Nero 7) for linux
I have love dsl and now love also like other thing, Nero Home (comes with Nero 7). I have set it up on windows pcs but i would like to use it on dsl because of fast speed. I can use Nero Media Home (For seting up a media server) on a windows pc but i need the Nero Home on linux. If some one can help me get just Nero Home (In Nero 7 Demo downloadable at nero.com) to run on linux and make it work with the media server and be able to put a serial number in before use that would be great.
i am only 14 and don't know much about linux or programing so if everyone can help please help me.
Unless Nero makes a Linux version, there's not much hope to get in DSL. Some people are using VMware and wine to run Windows programs and Linux on the same computer.
There are other streaming media options in Linux though. Check out Audacity and Lame for editing mp3s, and gstreamer for live streaming. There are actually a couple of linux distributions out there that are dedicated to internet broadcasting. Go to distrowatch.org to do some research!
ok thanks doobit.
